Augspurger

Augspurger is an American manufacturer of reference studio monitors, born from the partnership between George Augspurger, a veteran acoustic designer with a background at James B. Lansing Sound (JBL), and Dave Malekpour, a pro audio systems consultant who founded Augspurger Monitors as a manufacturing company in 2012, starting from the first custom system built in 1999 for Unique Recording Studios in New York.

Augspurger monitors are installed today in studios such as Quad Studios in New York and Snoop Dogg’s complex in Los Angeles, and are chosen by artists and producers including Jay-Z, Dr. Dre, Coldplay and Alicia Keys for their midrange transparency and low-end “feel factor”. The catalog includes the Solo, Duo, Treo, Treo Massiv, Tower, Quattro and Classic series, in passive and active configurations with SXE amplification, along with dedicated subwoofers and amplifiers.
